So you have finally reached level of 60 and decided it's time to to make a stand in the World of Warcraft and travel through the Dark Portal and join theBurning Crusade. But how do you make gold in Outland?
Making wow gold in the Burning Crusade is not that difficult providing you have mastered the basics of the WoW economy in Azeroth. Just like in the real world the economy is driven by the law of supply and demand. If you can supply gear and materials in demand by players in the Burning Crusade then you'll be able to make gold easily and without much effort of time.
So what's in demand in the Burning Crusade? Just like in Azeroth, players are looking to level their professions and craft new gear. To do this in the Burning Crusade, players need a constant supply of a high level crafting material call Primals.
Primals are classified as one of the 'elemental' materials in World of Warcraft and are made up of Motes. Ten elemental Motes are need to make one Primal. There are 7 variations of Primal:
- Primal Air
- Primal Earth
- Primal Fire
- Primal Life
- Primal Mana
- Primal Shadow
- Primal Water
So where do you find Motes in Outland? Motes can be obtained in a number of ways:
Mining
Motes will drop when mining various mineral ores. Typically, Mote of Earth, Fire and Water can be gathered this way.
Herbalism
Those players that gather herbs will sometimes receive Motes of Life. But try grinding the Bog Lords in Zangamarsh which also drop Motes of Life from those players with the Herbalism profession. Netherbloom will also drop Motes of Mana for Herbalists.
Engineering
A well know gadget of Engineers that can be used to gather Motes is the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor used to gather Motes present in the various Gas Clouds found all over Outland. Engineers should try Nagrand which teems with such clouds and which can be used to gather Motes of Air and Water.
Grinding Elementals
Players can gather various types of Mote by grinding Elemental beings. Example would be the the Voidspawn in Nagrand for Mote of Shadow and Mana Wraths in Netherstorm.
Alchemy
Finally, Alchemists have the ability to 'Transmute' one Primal to another once they have reached the required level of skill. For example, Transmute Primal Water to Primal Shadow.
