Google is planning to make Google Wave publicly available in the first half of 2010. However, the developers are now trying to iron out as many bugs as possible. It was reported by Lars, one of the developers, that their team has been clearing all the bugs in the system since the past four months and now are ready with it to hit a larger audience. Therefore, Google is about to invite 100,000 new users from tomorrow itself.
Nevertheless, it is not to be mistaken as a public launch as it is simply too early for them and there are certain issues to be sorted out before making it public. The invites of 100,000 is divided into three groups, the first one would be the people who signed up early to test, next will be the developers and thirdly a selected group of Google App users. However, it is said that the third group will be kept smaller in comparison to the other two.
The basic intention behind creating Google Wave is to improve on interaction and hence the team is giving out each invited member with 8 other invites. The invited members can thus invite their friends and family too. It is believed that the Google Wave ride is much smoother and it is loaded with lot many features giving the user faster and improved usability. Lars added that "It will crash less, which is pretty flashy." Google Wave is friendly to use from all browsers such as Safari, Chrome, Firefox 3.5, and Internet Explorer as well.
